What this site does with your data.
Very little. Here is all of it.
Who is responsible
This is Rishi Tank's personal site, and I am responsible for the personal data it handles. Write to tank.rishi@gmail.com with any question or request about it.
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking
The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It has no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and it loads nothing from other companies: fonts and images are served from this site.
Visiting a page
Like any website, the server sees your IP address and the page you asked for in order to send it to you. The site's own code does not record them. The hosting platform may keep standard technical logs of requests (such as IP address, time and page) to keep the service running and secure; they are not used to identify or profile anyone, and are kept only as long as that purpose needs.
The live proxy demo
On the Agent Egress Proxy case study you can send text through a running copy of the proxy. Your text goes from this site's server to the proxy, which replaces the personal data it recognises (email addresses, UK phone numbers, card numbers, National Insurance numbers, IPv4 addresses and some common API-key formats) with placeholders, then passes it to a test service that only echoes it back. No real AI model is involved.
Neither the proxy nor the test service stores what you type. The proxy logs only counts for each request, such as how many items it redacted and an estimated token cost. To limit how often the demo can be used, this site keeps your IP address in memory only (never on disk or in a log) and forgets it within two minutes.
Please use made-up details. Redaction does not catch everything: a name, a postal address, or anything written in a format it does not recognise passes through unchanged.
Getting in touch
The contact form does not send anything through this site: it opens your own email app with your message filled in. If you email me, your message is handled by my email provider (Google), and I use your details only to reply. I keep correspondence for as long as it is useful to our conversation, and delete it if you ask.
Why, where and who else
The lawful basis for all of the above is legitimate interests: running a working, secure website, showing the demo you chose to use, and replying to messages you send. The site and the demo run on a server rented from Hetzner Online GmbH in the EU, which UK law recognises as protecting personal data adequately. Email is handled by Google, which may process it outside the UK under its own safeguards for international transfers. Nobody else receives your data, none of it is sold or used for marketing, and no decisions about you are made automatically.
Your rights
You can ask me what personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, and object to my using it. Email tank.rishi@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
